BIG MOUTH, BIG MOVES?

WHAT DO I GET MYSELF INTO?

When an unplanned human contact results in me being angry, stressed, illogically emotionally disturbed in any way, then I automatically kick into investigative mode to reconcile facts versus opinion. Then others look at you (me, I mean) as if the original problem is something I invented. Huh. Might well have been. On the other hand, if you are able to reason objectively, you are able to see what is reasonable at all times. Really?

So I am reasonable in the assumption that I am competent to choose what I wear to whom I may choose to vote for in any election. Period. Also included as reasonable, are unalienable rights included in the precious Bill of Rights and Constitution, that verifies for all , the personal rights to speak without fear of reprisal; worship our Almighty and mind our own affairs; have, keep and use firearms in peaceful (no pun intended), legal pursuit; to expect and demand election voting to be uncontaminated by fraud. So reasonable.

Now I am faced with making a decision based on reasonable, calm and deliberate essentials that is going to take me WAY out of my comfort zone and quite possibly, my league. But the title fits the plan. My big mouth and the unrelenting time-bomb right next to my door is alarming me to take Siskiyou News Network to the eye of the storm: WILDFIRE POLICY that has ruined this corner of the national forest system. I said national forest system, which trees, bear, deer, fowl, mushrooms, elk, cougar, skunks….are the residents. And we traditional American residents are weary of watching the results. The forest system is under brutal attack, not from lighting, but from human policy directives that are about to burn down every tree from Agness to North Bend. Make that Salem. And the American pocketbook.

I had a recent conversation with Curry County Commissioner Court Boyce. Of the individuals elected to higher office in the county, he seems to be the most visible and vocal in wanting to change policy to stop this yearly carnage. In support of saving the Siskiyou National Forest at the local level, I am publicly offering to help Mr. Boyce achieve reasonable and swift remedy for this travesty of reason.

I urge you, my fellow citizens who are common in the same goal to HELP our friends in public office to enjoin the conversation. Call our governor or choose a tactic that promotes peaceful and purposeful direction to those who pledged to serve US with reason. We are running out of forest to burn.
