Drinking tea and eating small portions of flavonoid rich foods such as berries, chocolate, wine and plants will also lower your risk of heart disease. These are the findings of the American Heart Association’s Scientific Sessions annual meeting held Saturday also. Of course, this is not new and some research indicates flavonoids are a risk to the heart. What? Shall we eat cardboard?

No says researchers in Australia who led a 23 year study and found that 12,000 of the 53,000 people observed had developed various heart conditions. Just eat 500 milligrams a day to help protect against inflammatory heart conditions. More is not helpful. The good news is: if you smoke, drink, or are a man, then by all means, eat more flavonoids to correct your bad habits. We at S.K.Y.N.N.K. are concerned with correcting maleness as a bad habit. We think they are a fine habit.
